CISRS Scaffolder Tube & Fitting Card
CISRS Scaffolder Tube & Fitting Card, Upon successful completion of CISRS Part 1, CISRS Part 2, VQ2/SCQF5, CISRS 1 Day Skills Test & CITB HS&E Test (or accepted exemption) an operative can apply for the CISRS Scaffolder Card.
The operative may now be deemed a qualified scaffolder and can lead a scaffold gang in basic scaffold operations as defined in TG20 and CISRS course content.
CISRS Scaffolder Cards are valid for 5 years.
Secondly, law requires that any individual wishing to erect, alter or dismantle scaffolding must be able to prove their competency. Nevertheless industry-wide accepted proof of competency for operatives is to hold a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder card. More so, to be eligible to apply for this card, candidates must successfully complete the following 3 elements of training, all of which are available at NETA:

- COTS
- CISRS Part 1 (Tube & Fitting)
- CISRS Part 2 (Tube & Fitting)
- NVQ Level 2 SCQF Level 5
- CISRS 1 Day Skills Test
- CITB HS&E Test taken within 2 years (or accepted exemption)
Renewal Process
- 2 Day Scaffolder Refresher/CPD Course
- Moreover 2 day CISRS Skills Assessment (Advanced Scaffolder Card) is for delegates who are already Scaffolder card holders who have already successfully completed their Advanced course. Futhermore their Level 3 QCF National Diploma in Accessing Operations & Rigging (Construction) qualification and gained the minimum 6 months scaffold experience since completion of their Advanced.
